Ruth asks…Are there lost or burried Kruggerrands somewhere?Because I grew up in a farmhouse that Paul Kruger had apparently built and lived in for a while my parents had all through my childhood joked about finding 'the lost Krugerrands' somewhere, maybe built into the thick clay walls or in the ground with a tree planted over them (this is how we discovered one very old gun from the anglo-boer war).
Do you know anything about this fable of burried treasure, or why some might believe it?
